About Alexandra

I am a writer with a knitting and sewing obsession, and I particularly love connecting with the past in a tangible way through handcrafts. There’s something about picking up a spindle or a needle and knowing people have done exactly the same thing for thousands of years that still gives me chills!

Newsletter Schedule

Woolgathering comes out three times a month. The first post of the month will take a look at some aspect of fiber in history or fiction. The second will follow my progress as I attempt to refresh my wardrobe with me-made objects. The third will be a piece of original writing. The first two posts are available for paid subscribers, while the third is free to all.
